Our own website is a live record of SEO work in progress. September brought fewer search appearances and five clicks. The next challenge is stronger rankings, useful visits and enquiries we can verify.
Search comparison: 1–29 September versus 3–31 August 2026, equal 29-day periods. Search Console was checked on 2 October and had not included 30 September. GA4 uses 1–30 September.
The current picture
The monthly SEO cost guide supplied about 72% of the site’s search impressions in the measured September window. Its impressions fell from 1,454 to 782, with no clicks in either period. Other pages partly offset that decline.
The sitewide average position improved from 81.3 to 65.1, but this combines different queries, locations and devices. It does not prove that the same searches improved, or that a particular change caused the movement.

Enquiries are a separate measure. September GA4 recorded 21 sessions, including four Organic Search sessions. It showed no Organic Search key events. Four key events were attributed to Direct, but their names and enquiry status were not verified. These figures are not a count of confirmed leads.
A worked example from our own website
This shortened example shows how KSJ Growth turns evidence into an action plan. It is not a client result or a complete paid audit. The review dates and checks are kept visible.
Observation: the 4 October public check found duplicate descriptions on eleven pages, plus repeated canonical tags on eight pages.
Next action: reconcile the outputs in the verified website source so each affected page has one intended description and canonical.
Check: inspect the served page source and repeat the sitemap-wide audit after release. The 4 October release reconciles these page signals; the public audit checks the result.
Observation: Search Console’s report processed on 21 September showed 13 pages discovered but not indexed. The 4 October public check found all 39 sitemap URLs available.
Next action: review affected commercial pages individually, strengthen useful internal routes and check their live inspection results.
Check: a later indexing report and individual URL inspection. Repeated requests alone do not establish indexing.

The site has service pages, supporting resources and an ongoing technical review. The latest measurements do not establish page-one rankings, reliable organic traffic, new customers or revenue growth.
Independent authority also remains limited: Search Console’s 2 October Links report showed seven referring domains, five related to KSJ projects and two independent directory citations. Related links and directory entries are not verified editorial endorsements.
We use this record to explain what deserves attention next. Historic visibility gains remain available below, with their original dates, rather than being presented as the latest result.
This is the original August record. References to “current”, “latest” and growth below refer to its 20 July–16 August measurement period, not today’s results. The September review above supersedes this snapshot.

The first complete 28-day window beginning on the 20 July cost-guide update date shows visibility continuing to expand, while most appearances remain too low to earn clicks.
Measurement period: 20 July to 16 August 2026 compared with 22 June to 19 July 2026. Search Console was refreshed on 18 August 2026 and was complete through 16 August.
It is easy for an SEO company to say it can improve visibility. This page exists so KSJ Growth can show the process on its own site first. The goal is to make the work visible: the pages created, the technical checks completed, the indexing steps taken and the ranking movement that follows.
This is not a claim that SEO works overnight. It is a live record of practical SEO work, starting from a new Google Search Console property and building from local foundations towards stronger UK visibility for commercially useful searches.
18 August 2026 progress report
Search impressions increased from 673 to 1,151 in the latest equal 28-day comparison. That is 478 additional impressions, or 71.0%. Clicks moved from six to three, so the visibility gain has not yet become more search visits.
The ten strongest monthly SEO cost queries generated 693 impressions, up from 337. That is an increase of 356, or 105.6%, but those rows recorded zero clicks.
The monthly SEO cost guide increased from 560 to 1,023 impressions. It supplied 463 of the site’s 478 additional impressions, or 96.9%, while its average position improved from 89.8 to 86.8.
There were no top-10 positions in the measured query set, and 98.3% of shown impressions came from outside the top 50. The page is gaining exposure, but remains too low in the results to expect consistent clicks.
What this means: this is a visibility result, not evidence of local rankings, enquiries, revenue or a guaranteed outcome. The data supports protecting the cost guide while authority and ranking signals develop, rather than rewriting it immediately.
KSJ Growth moved to the .com domain as the main address, corrected canonical signals, verified the site in Search Console and submitted the WordPress sitemap.
A focused commercial landing page was created for Liverpool SEO services, with one clear H1, a useful meta description, canonical URL, service schema and homepage internal link.
A supporting resource page was added to answer related search intent and link back to the main SEO services page.
A supporting article was created for small business SEO costs in Liverpool. It links back to the main SEO services page and helps answer price-focused search intent before a buyer chooses a provider.
A new Google Business Profile optimisation page was created for Liverpool businesses, added to the sitemap, linked from the main SEO page and submitted to Search Console for indexing.
The empty client testimonials area was replaced with a live KSJ Growth case study section, giving visitors a clearer proof point while client results are still being built.
A focused page was created around the £249 SEO audit, linked into the Liverpool SEO cluster, added to the sitemap and submitted for indexing.
A specialist commercial page was created for Liverpool tradespeople, supported by internal links from the main SEO services page and local SEO checklist.
Google Search Console reported 27 impressions, the first organic click and an overall average position of 20.7 across the early tracked searches. The indexing report showed 12 indexed pages.
The 28-day Search Console view reached 41 impressions and retained the first organic click, with a 2.4% click-through rate and an overall average position of 23.4. Early non-branded searches included “SEO packages Liverpool” and “SEO audit Liverpool”, giving the next optimisation work a clear data-led focus.
The latest equal-period comparison reached 935 impressions, up from 197. The monthly SEO cost guide produced 821 impressions and the ten strongest non-brand cost queries produced 512, confirming a much clearer UK price-intent opportunity.
The 20 July to 16 August window reached 1,151 site impressions. The monthly SEO cost guide produced 1,023 impressions, improved from position 89.8 to 86.8 and still recorded no clicks, confirming that ranking depth, not proven snippet failure, is the immediate constraint.
Keep the cost guide stable while building relevant authority, strengthening useful supporting content and monitoring ranking cohorts. Future changes will be based on evidence of a specific gap, not impressions alone.
The mission started with a focused local SEO cluster and is now expanding into wider UK commercial questions where Search Console shows genuine demand.
Commercial service pages and practical guides are kept distinct so each one can answer a clear buyer question without competing with another page.
The Liverpool cluster builds local relevance, while the monthly SEO cost guide answers a wider UK question that Search Console now shows people are actively asking.
Pages use unique titles, descriptions, canonicals and headings, supported by internal links, factual schema, a maintained sitemap and direct 200 responses across the current sitemap set.
The case study is being judged on real Search Console data, not guesswork. The latest and previous periods are both complete 28-day windows, and the current window starts on the 20 July cost-guide release date.

These are the five highest-impression cost queries in the latest period. They show a clear, non-brand commercial theme, but all five recorded zero clicks in this comparison.

Data note: Google Search Console data can arrive with a delay. An impression is a search appearance, not a website visit, ranking guarantee or enquiry. Average position combines different queries, locations and devices. The displayed-query distribution is not a complete rank tracker, and Search Console cannot prove which individual change caused the movement.
The data proves that KSJ Growth appeared in more UK monthly SEO cost searches than in the previous equal period. It also identifies one guide and one query cluster responsible for nearly all of that expansion.
It does not prove page-one or local rankings, traffic growth, lead or revenue growth, snippet failure or a guaranteed result from any one technique. Clicks fell from six to three, the cost guide recorded zero clicks and no release-causation or verified organic-enquiry claim is being made. That honest gap defines the next phase of the mission.
